Following a recent Patient Survey and Peer Review we are delighted to announce that we achieved an overall rating of outstanding for our level of care and service.
This report judges the quality of care delivered though our partnership at Eden Court. The report is in line with the CQC framework and provides an assessment on how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, our services are.
How We Scored
The Good Points
The review expressed excellent levels of cleanliness and collaborative working between Newcastle upon Thyme Hospitals (NuTH) and Akari. An open culture where patient safety is viewed as a priority with excellent documentation of care.
The report discovered ‘exemplary caring attitudes displayed by all staff’ and that patient dignity was prioritised. The environment was found to be conducive to the needs of the patients with ‘excellent awareness of the needs of vulnerable patients.’
Summary
This review was undertaken by peers from the within the Trust rather than external inspectors and is a strong reflection of the quality and standards of care delivered at Eden Court.
