Margaret brings the farmyard to Seale Pastures!

Margaret Goodwin spent many years looking after around 100 chickens and a herd of cows.  Now she’s using some of her skills here at Seale Pastures.

Margaret recently became a resident, and once we found out about her animal husbandry skills, and how she knows a thing or three about how to look after chickens, it seemed a good opportunity to invest in some of our own chickens.

The great thing about chickens is that they lay eggs (of course!) and they’re also really good at helping people to relax – it’s called Hen Power!
