Lisa is top of the pops for October!

Bridge View Care Home have decided to make a bit more fuss of their wonderful staff by starting an Employee of the month scheme.  The idea is to give a small thank you to a nominated individual who deserves that little bit extra. A post box has been placed in the main foyer with nomination forms for residents, relatives and staff to use. 

The first winner, Employee of the Month October 2016, is Lisa Machin.  She has been a Care Assistant at Bridge View for over 11 years.

Lisa commented: ‘I really love my job.  We’re like one big family here, really.  It’s nice to know that people appreciate what we do’

Lisa’s nomination reads: ‘For having such a great rapport with all the residents, and for her absolutely brilliant positive attitude, even when she is not feeling 100% herself. Her care is second to none and she is a great colleague to work with xxx.’

Care Home Manager Ann Mielnik said:  All our staff are really dedicated and caring people, and this monthly award is just another way of showing our appreciation of their hard work.  Residents, their families, and our staff have taken part and think it’s a great idea.’

Meanwhile, Lisa will be looking forward to relaxing at home with a glass of wine and a sweet or two!
