Welcome to St Peters Court Care Home
St Peter’s Court Care Home is pleasantly situated in scenic surroundings in Wallsend, close to the river Tyne and a short drive away from the dramatic and picturesque Northumbrian coastline.
Our dedicated team is committed to meeting the individual needs of every resident and we encourage all residents to remain as physically and mentally active as possible, supporting them to maintain their independence, interests, and quality of life.
Our community is made up of residents with a wide range of abilities and care requirements, and we tailor our support to meet each person's unique needs. For those who value their independence, the home benefits from excellent access to local amenities and transport links, making it easy to stay connected with the wider community. Within the home, residents can also enjoy a varied programme of activities designed to promote wellbeing, social interaction, and enjoyment.
For residents requiring more specialist care, St Peters Court provides residential and dementia care within a warm and welcoming environment. We also provide respite care and compassionate palliative care services, ensuring support is available at every stage of life.
At St Peters Court, we are extremely proud of the high-quality care we provide. Our dedicated team works hard to build trusted, respectful relationships with residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals, creating a caring and supportive community where everyone feels valued and respected.
Akari Care is proud to be working towards the Veteran Friendly Framework status across all our homes, demonstrating our commitment to supporting both those who have served and their families. We understand that military service can shape a person's experiences, identity, and wellbeing and that is why we strive to provide person-centred care that acknowledges and honours each veteran's unique history. Through our Veteran Friendly approach, we aim to foster a sense of belonging, encourage meaningful connections, and ensure that veterans receive compassionate care in a supportive community.
