Residential Care

Respite Care

Some of our homes offer specialist help for people with complex needs, such as mental health concerns, physical disabilities or learning disabilities.

Day Care

This is for those who are less in need of care. It might be for tasks such as eating or washing, or simply for extra company – somewhere to enjoy activities and spend time with friends in a safe and supportive environment.

Intermediate Care

Also known as rehabilitation care, intermediate care can be an alternative to a prolonged or unnecessary hospital stay.

Nursing Care Dementia Care Palliative Care

Canterbury House Nursing Home is located in the seaside town of Rhyl, ideally positioned between the beautiful North Wales coastline and the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia National Park.

We provide specialist support for people living with dementia in a comfortable, reassuring, and supportive environment. The home is arranged across three floors and offers 52 single bedrooms, 45 of which have en-suite facilities, ensuring residents can enjoy both privacy and comfort. An enclosed garden to the rear provides a safe outdoor space for relaxation, while ample parking is available at the front of the home for visitors.

We are committed to delivering personalised care that promotes the wellbeing, dignity, and comfort of every resident. We recognise that each person has unique needs, preferences, and life experiences, and we tailor our support accordingly. For residents requiring more specialist care, we offer comprehensive nursing packages delivered by our experienced and highly skilled care team. We also provide respite care and compassionate palliative care services, ensuring support is available at every stage of life.
