Church House Care Home is situated just outside Nantwich in Cheshire, in a picturesque rural location.  It’s a 200 year old farm house with a modern extension in a beautiful setting.

All our visitors are warmly greeted with a smile, a hand shake, and the offer of a hot drink.

We have a reputation for being a very warm and friendly home.  Our staff have all the qualities that you’d expect in a Care Home.  They’re good listeners, they’re caring and compassionate, they have a laugh, they’re a shoulder to cry on, and they’ll give a cuddle if one’s needed!

We have a marvellous Activities Co-ordinator: a natural entertainer who lights up the room when she walks in.  She gets everyone involved and alert, not just with games and quizzes, but engaging with each other and the world around them.

Activities are very much centred on what the residents would like to do.  They always have a choice.  Some like to walk around the gardens and up the lane.  We have frequent trips out – we had a trip recently to Chester Zoo.  We had a large garden party this summer, so there’s lots of coming and going, and plenty to keep the residents happy and contented.

A lot of residents engage with each other over meal times.  Some will get their own meal and then help others get theirs and then help tidy away.  They also like to get involved in the kitchen.

“I think the care that they give to my mother and other residents is all that I could wish for.“
Patricia (daughter of resident)
