Schools Out for Summer

Today saw our last Cognitive Stimulation Therapy session take place at Piper Court in Stockton, the children from Rosedene Nursery break up for their summer holidays next week. Before they head off for 6 weeks of sunshine and playtimes we treated them to a colouring in competition and a Teddy Bears Picnic, our residents, the children and the teddy bears all enjoyed crisps and cupcakes whilst drinking juice from their own little teacups! The colouring in competition was fierce and it proved just too difficult to pick a winner so everyone was declared a winner! The session was finished off with everyone singing “you are my sunshine” which is the song we have spent the last few weeks practising together. Next Wednesday, our residents will take a trip to the nursery to see the children graduate for big school in September.
