Newcastle United Foundation Student Project

Comfort House in West Denton residents have welcomed students from Newcastle United Foundation into their home as part of a student project that they have been taking part in this summer. 

The students have taken charge of the tea trolley throughout the day, they have helped out with some gardening and painting tasks in and around the home and even helped us get ready to celebrate a very special 90th birthday! 

Most importantly though, they have spent time with our residents chatting to them about anything and everything whilst taking part in several different activities of our residents choice. 

It's fair to say that both the students and our residents have really enjoyed the time that they have spent together.
