Coble House in Whitley Bay celebrated its 25th Birthday in style with a fabulous Birthday Bash!
Residents, families, friends and staff all enjoyed some wonderful and very lively entertainment in the garden which was followed by a delicious high tea! Residents said that one of the highlights of the day was seeing the staff performing a dance routine at the end of the entertainment!
We’ve also had a busy month in the residents’ cookery club. This months produce included scones, peppermint creams, rum truffles, pizza and some mouth-watering shortbread!
Sharon, our activities co-ordinator, has also welcomed our latest resident Arthur, Arthur is a dementia friendly teddy bear, if you squeeze his hand and he sings to you. He’s already a huge hit with everyone and has been receiving lots of cuddles!
