Bank Health Care Assistant
About The Role
We are looking for people who are either looking to start their career within care or people who are experience carers. We are looking for people who want to be part of Akari Care and who will be proud to be a part of the family.
Akari Care will offer you development plans, never curb your enthusiasm and support you in every way. In return we will look to you to promote an atmosphere which enables our residents to have fun and thoroughly enjoy living at Moorfield House whilst assisting them with their individual needs.
Moorfield House Care Home is situated in a pleasant, leafy suburb to the south of Newcastle, on the edge of Town Moor. It is a small Home with a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Many of our team have worked at Moorfield for a long time, and our staff turnover is very small. This helps us to maintain a consistently high level of service for our residents, and to foster long term and meaningful relationships with their families and friends.
We believe that our residents should remain as physically and mentally active as possible, so we encourage them to participate in a variety of activities.
Our staff are all highly committed to providing the residents with a safe and emotionally secure environment. An important part of this is just having a good old natter – sharing happy memories, offering a shoulder to cry on, or simply having a good laugh! We gradually build up relationships with residents, and in no time they begin to feel that Moorfield is more than just a Care Home, it’s their home.
