Chef (Bank)

About The Role

Here at Wellburn House we are looking for a committed Head Chef. We take pride in the quality of our residents’ meals and are looking for someone to take on this responsibility to ensure they have the best possible stay here.

We are looking for someone who is an experienced chef or has knowledge in managing a kitchen team to cook and serve nutritious, healthy meals. It is essential that we consider dietary requirements and cultural preferences. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of Akari Care and who will be proud to be a part of the family.

Although we can accommodate up to 90 people, our focus is very much on treating all our residents as individuals and affording them the respect and dignity they deserve. We believe in empowering them as much as possible, encouraging them to remain active mentally and physically. We also specialise in Dementia Residential care.

Akari Care will offer you development plans, never curb your enthusiasm and support you in every way. In return we will look to you to promote an atmosphere which enables our residents to be comfortable and thoroughly enjoy working at Wellburn House.

  • A competitive starting salary with the opportunity to increase this through training and development
  • We cover the cost of your DBS check
